Wow... Omaha...
It's kinda sad that Jen got in a week after I did and yet she beat me to the Omaha post.
It's good to be back, I will admit that there was some trepidation about that when I was packing. I really wasn't sure whether I wanted to leave or not. I mean, sure, I missed everyone and what-not... but I'd become accustomed to Ripon and its quirks and what I could do there and who I could be there. I'd finally gotten out and met a lot of new people after spring break. I'd have to say that, all in all, 4th quarter was my favorite of the year.
I'm lazy, and to simplify things, here is what has happened that I consider to be of note.
1.) My house looks strange, mom and her friends remodeled the living room and my mom re-painted the entryway. It's nice, she's killing off the pink, but it's different.
2.) I'm back to working at Hollywood, at least now there is only one person who really pisses me off there. Of course that's Debby, and she accounts for the anger inducing of about 5 regular annoying co-workers.
3.) I'm learning/have learned to drive a stick-shift... it's scary... and sorta fun. I managed to get myself to and from the Borders on Maple, though I did stall once at a traffic light... sad clown.
4.) I've been sleeping way too late into the day lately... though I did wake up in time to beat a surprise visit by Laura, Brooke and Allie. I'm just glad I could find some pants!
